Photography started for Mark Whitrock with a film camera he bought at a garage sale and over the course of the last ten years has transformed from a hobby into a career. Mark got his start shooting live music and touring with bands and the rock n roll influence still finds its way into his style today: vivid colors, directional light, movement and high energy.

Along with creating access, photography was a way of documenting his life. He loves to document his time on the road and in new places. It’s from these roots that he finds meaning in his work today, as a way to draw purpose and authenticity from the subjects he photographs and situations he works within.

Mark thrives with working with others, loves to offer a helping hand and just generally being a good hang! He brings a thoughtful and lighthearted attitude that is sure to put others at ease. Life is always better when you’re on the road, whether that be in a van on your way to the next show or to another part of the world to photograph something new.
